We found this to be a great choice for the Cowldanna project in Aran weight.
TRUST is a luscious wool and Alpaca blend that is very light and soft on the skin. Perfect for the Cowldanna project, and takes only 2 balls per cowl.

ON DEMAND SOCK CLASSES
Where do you want to start? Top Down or Toe Up?
What size yarn do you want to use?
When do you want to get together?
The idea of knitting socks can be quite daunting if you've not done it before. The whole thought of turning heels and grafting toes can be quite enough to put you off before you even pick up your needles - and I know because that's how I felt too!
If you can knit, purl, do short-rows and pick up stitches you can make socks from either end.
In this class, you choose between top-down socks with a short row heel using DK weight yarn and double point needles OR toe-up socks using fingering weight yarn and magic loop.
Dates: Determined by your schedule
Time: Determined by your schedule
Yarn: primarily wool - 60 g DK
Needles: DPN in sizes 2 and 3
Yarn: primarily wool - 340 (380, 420) yards fingering weight. The pattern includes instructions for socks that are 7, 8 and 9 inches around the ball of foot.
Needles: Size 2 circular needles at least 28" long (32" is generally recommended for magic loop socks).
Project Showcase or as we like to call it,
"Show and Tell".
Our knitters and crocheters do amazing work! We love being able to show off what you've been working on. The completed projects are always so gorgeous! If you've got anything you've finished please send us pictures so we can show off your work in the newsletter.
